Growing up in Shakopee, Minnesota I always knew that I wanted to own my own business.  While my Dad was a manager at a Duebers Department Store, he also had his own maintenance business taking care of the Minnesota Valley Mall.

While in elementary and junior high I had delivered papers for the Minneapolis Star Tribune and did snow blowing around the neighborhood for some extra cash.  I remember in 8th or 9th grade I printed up flyers for the snowplowing business in the graphic arts room at the Shakopee Junior High.

I've always been an entrepreneur, and I am lucky to have found the opportunities to enable me to work for myself.

Now my wife and I own and invest in many companies including The Fax Guys, A Cup of Carver, two CPR Cell Phone Repair retail locations, and a marketing software company called Presenza.
